finished turning 32 pages into nearly 2000 pages. i've learned a couple of new tricks. it turns out regex is my new best friend. a few letters and characters hold so much power in perl.

more htaccess goodies. changes it so that whenever anyone access' /latin/phrases/f/ or /latin/phrases/f both get rewritten and redirect to /latin/phrases/f/index.html. it's a small change but it helps keep things organized and clean. now when i look at 404 errors i know what other pages people are having trouble with.

no big changes, just played around with the php/htaccess to make the site more search engine friendly.

so it looks like i'm done for awhile. i didnt change the css for the latin phrases. after working on it for awhile and not like the results, i thought it would be a cleaner,crisper look to keep it the way it was. i ran everything through the xhtml validator to make sure things are up to standards, along the way i found a couple of problems which i promptly fixed. i miss coding. now i have to work on a few more smaller projects.

done with the sorting code, as well as some of the visuals. last thing to work on is the css for spacing the quotes. i hate working with css.

i finally got the quotes imported into the database. i cant belive i wasted so much time. the answer was literally staring me in the face. a leason learned. pay attention. and now to work on the php/html portion to access and display the info.

i renamed the old blog section to something more appropriate. the new blog section is more site related. one of the first things to be worked on is the quotes section. instead of putting the whole quotes thing up, i'll put up the latin phrases which i saw on someones site and will now steal.
